Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions, along with the Privacy Policy outlined on this website, provide details on the terms which Lally Coach Hire Ltd. (referred to hereafter as “Lally Tours”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates business.

Upon purchase of a tour ticket you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as set out below.

1. Booking and Distribution of Tickets

By purchasing a ticket with Lally Tours you are recognising that you have read and agree to the following terms and conditions.

1.1 Online

After completing the booking process, you will receive a booking confirmation email which includes a booking reference for your unique order, and your e-ticket. An email containing your order receipt will then be sent to the address provided.

1.2 In Person

Your purchase will be confirmed with a physical or virtual ticket that will be provided at our ticket offices / our mobile ticket offices / our drivers / our agents, or through 3rd party agents.

1.3 Bookings made over the Phone

Your purchase will be confirmed via confirmation email, additionally you will be provided with your confirmation number verbally.

2. Insurance

2.1

Lally Tours has sufficient third party liability insurance to all passengers and tour participants.

2.2

Lally Tours does not include travel insurance in the ticket price of any services or tours.

3. Personal Belongings and Luggage

3.1

Lally Tours does not accept responsibility for any luggage or property lost, damaged or stolen while traveling with us or while stored on our vehicles or while on our property.

3.2

You are permitted to bring two pieces of luggage on the tours. The driver reserves the right to require larger pieces of luggage to remain in the under-coach lockers. Additional pieces of luggage can usually be facilitated when requested in advance of the tour.

3.3

A limited number of bicycles may be permitted as luggage on the coach with advance notice.

4. Cancellations, Refunds and Amendments

4.1

Cancellations must be made by emailing Lally Tours at bookings@lallytours.com or in person at Lally Tours HQ.

4.2

When cancelling a booking you are only entitled to a full or partial refund under certain conditions outlined below which you agree to have read and understood at time of purchase.

4.2.1 Day Tours

-With 24 hours notice or more, a full refund will be provided.

-With less than 24 hours notice, Lally Tours reserves the right to not provide any refund.

4.2.2 Private, Custom, Extended and Multi-Day Tours

-With 120 days notice or more from the date of departure Lally Tours will provide a full refund.

-Within 119 and 89 days notice from the date of departure a 50% refund will be provided.

-With less than 90 days notice from the date of departure Lally Tours reserves the right to not provide any refund.

-Lally Tours may at its discretion apply additional terms and conditions to any Private/Custom/Extended/Multi-Day Tours which will be made aware to you at time of purchase.

4.3

Lally Tours upholds that refund requests will only be considered via email to bookings@lallytours.com.

4.4

Lally Tours reserves the right to only provide a refund via the same method of payment that the original purchase was made. Any international transfer or currency transfer costs related to requested refunds will be deducted from the balance owed.

4.5

If you wish to make amendments to your booking, this can be done using the ‘Manage my Booking’ section on our website or by contacting us via bookings@lallytours.com.

4.6 Third Party Agents

4.6.1

When purchasing through a 3rd party agent, Lally Tours is not responsible for processing any cancellation(s), refund(s) or amendment(s).

4.6.2

Any cancellation(s), amendment(s) or refund(s) must be processed through the 3rd party agent that you purchased your ticket from.

5. Changes made by us / Changes to Tours

5.1

Lally Tours reserves the right to refuse admission to our premises or on board our vehicles at our discretion, this may be as a result of, but not limited to, anti-social behaviour, including anti-social behaviour towards other guests and/or members of staff.

5.2

Lally Tours at its discretion reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries and stops without notice. This will only be done when absolutely necessary and will be done in the interest or safety of passengers and guests.

5.3

Lally Tours reserves the right to require a minimum number of passengers for all tours. In the unlikely event of this occurring, customers will be given the option to receive a full refund, or to take an alternative tour.

5.4

Lally Tours is not liable for any delay or interruption to any of its tours where the delay/interruption has incurred due to circumstances beyond our control including, but not limited to, adverse weather conditions, vehicle break-down, major traffic delays. We are therefore not liable for any missed transportation/connections after the tour or any incurring costs as a result of a delay.

5.5

Lally Tours may at our discretion increase or decrease the price of our tours at any time. Once you have a ticket purchased any potential price changes will not affect your original ticket price.

5.6 Extreme Weather and Storms

Lally Tours reserves the right to cancel, postpone or make changes to any tours due to circumstances beyond our control including, but not limited to, adverse weather conditions, severe weather warnings, imminent storms, etc., in the interest of the safety of our guests, passengers and staff.

5.7 Changes to Terms and Conditions

We may at our discretion revise and make adjustments to our terms and conditions. Please be sure to check if there has been any changes since your last visit, as you are bound to them.

5.8 Changes to (content on) lallytours.com

Our site and its contents will change and be updated from time to time in line with any changes that we make as a business. Although we will try our best to assure that the content and information available on our site is accurate and true, any content provided by us may not be up to date at any stage, and we are not obliged to update it. We do not declare that lallytours.com or any content provided on lallytours.com is without errors or is not missing any information.

6. Your Responsibilities and Obligations

6.1

All guests on tour alone must be 18 years old or older. All children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years old or older while on tour with Lally Tours.

6.2

By accepting these terms and conditions you are accepting the cost for any damages or breakages or losses caused by you (the ticket holder) while on tour with us.

6.3

Having agreed to our terms and conditions you are required to act respectfully towards other guests, passengers and members of staff and to act in a manner that does not negatively impact the experience of other passengers.

6.4 Storage of Personal Details

When purchasing tickets we will take contact details off you in order to contact you with regards to the ticket you have purchased. If you would like to understand how this information is then stored by Lally Tours please see our Privacy Policy here.

6.5

Animals and pets are not allowed on board any of our vehicles unless they are a Guide dog or Assistance dog.

6.6

In line with our company policy, smoking is prohibited on any of our vehicles in the best interest of our guests, passengers and staff.

6.7

Lally Tours may take pictures of guests and passengers on tour from time to time as part of, but not limited to, promotional videos, photos, content for brochures etc.

6.8 Infants and Child Seats

All children under 5 are required to have a child seat which can be secured to the coach seat via seatbelt (please note no iso-bar fixings). Parents/guardians must provide the child seat as Lally Tours do not provide them.

6.9 No Shows

Lally Tours reserves the right to not provide a refund to any person that does not appear for their tour without cancelling. Lally Tours may offer an alternative date of travel but this is at their discretion and subject to availability.

6.10 Seating

Lally Tours does not operate a seat allocation policy and as such seating is on a first come first served basis. Once a tour has departed from Check-In your seat is yours for the duration of the tour.

7. Pick-up Points

7.1

A pick-up request is as stated, a request and is not guaranteed. As a result, the pick-up request can be confirmed or rejected by Lally Tours as it is not always feasible to carry out pick-up requests.

7.2

Hotel pick-ups are exclusive to Galway city limits. We do not provide hotel pick-ups for any surrounding towns/villages.

7.3

There are set pick-up points in place, when you enter your hotel/apartment/B&B address, our nearest set pick-up point will be suggested to you. Pick-up requests will be confirmed and finalised the day before your date of travel by either phone call or email.

7.4

Pick-up times are approximate and are dependent on traffic.

7.5

It is your responsibility to meet the tour/driver at your confirmed pick-up point, or to notify us if you choose to meet us at our office instead.

7.6 Meeting Point If You Do Not Request a Pick-Up

If you do not request a hotel pick-up, the meeting point for your tour is outside The Hyde Hotel, Forster St, Galway. Check In opens 15 minutes prior to the departure of your tour.

8. Feedback and Complaints

8.1

Lally Tours kindly requests that you make your driver/guide aware of any complaints or feedback about a tour, while on the tour. Depending on the severity of the complaint and subject to the circumstances, your driver/guide will take your feedback into consideration and try to amend any issues so as to not affect the remainder of your trip.

8.2

Sincere appreciation and careful consideration will be given to all feedback provided to us at Lally Tours. Please email feedback@lallytours.com with all feedback or complaints.

8.3

Lally Tours requires all complaints be emailed to feedback@lallytours.com within 30 days of your tour date so that we have appropriate time to investigate the complaint accordingly.
