Lally Tours operate a double-decker bus tour of Galway City with tour guide, which is one of the best ways to get to know 'The City of the Tribes'. Just sit back and listen to our guides as they inform you about our great past and varied history - as we take you through the streets of Galway and show you some of our best sights.
Our open top bus visits all of the main attractions, including:-
- Eyre Square
- National University of Ireland, Galway
- Galway Cathedral
- Salthill Beaches and Promenade
- The Claddagh
- The Spanish Arch
- Galway City Museum

This is a hop-on hop-off service so you can jump off along the route and visit somewhere you like and then rejoin the tour when it comes around again.
The ticket is valid for 24 hours so you you take the tour more than once if you wish. The tour starts from Galway Tourist Office on Forster Street just off Eyre Square in Galway city centre (100m from our office also on Forster Street).
Generally, this tour is available from March through to October.Tickets can be bought:
- on this website
- at our office at 4 Forster Street just off Eyre Square in Galway city centre
- at any official Fáilte Ireland tourist office
- on the bus just before the tour starts
